Erin Johnson, Church Office

My name is Erin and if you know me, you know I’m living the dream. I’m a lifelong resident of Blacksburg and have been involved with Fieldstone almost since the beginning. I’m attending Liberty University working towards a Master's Degree in teaching.

I grew up in the church and was really involved in my youth group as a kid and now I volunteer in leading the student ministries here. I really enjoy hanging out with students and helping them grow in their faith. I also help with the leadership of our young adult group, which is pretty awesome, and I dig the mission of Fieldstone.

When you come by Fieldstone be sure to give me a shout in the office!

Judy Job, Lay Pastor

In 2000, my husband Bob and I returned to Christiansburg, where I grew up. We moved after living 23 years in Armonk, N.Y. In July of 2000 we met Lynn Alley-Grant who was starting a new Methodist church. She asked us to be on the planning team for Fieldstone Church.

My pastoral care experience includes: A leadership role in Community Bible Study, Being a Pastoral Care volunteer at a hospital in Mount Kisco, N.Y., and a two-year course in pastoral care. I have also been a Member of the Order of St. Luke since 1982, served as a volunteer with Good Samaritan Hospice from 2001-2011. I have served as a licensed Lay Speaker in the Roanoke District and a Lay Pastor at Fieldstone since 2006.

What is a methodist?

Fieldstone is a United Methodist Church.

It all started when John Wesley, the guy to your right, started taking God seriously. Click on this old school claymation video to get a quick history. Yes, we said claymation.
